Sienna’s Story: Moved from Home to Home

Meet Sienna, a 16-year-old girl who lives in Florida. Her story will break your heart.

Sienna has been in and out of foster care since she was three years old. In the last four years, she’s been moved 25 times and placed in 17 different “homes.” She was sexually assaulted and abused in foster care.

Sometimes, Sienna would only be in her new home for a few hours before she was moved again. She could not attend regular school consistently. Night after night, the moves became so frequent that she left her belongings in her caseworker’s car instead of bothering to unpack.

She once asked: “Why am I good enough for one week, but not good enough to stay?”

Sienna is a real child we represented this year in Florida. So when you give to Children’s Rights, you join the fight to make sure Sienna and thousands of other kids like her have a safe and stable home. Will you consider making a year-end donation to Children’s Rights? We appreciate any amount that you can give. Donate here: www.childrensrights.org/donate
