Protect Immigrant Children, Starting in Our Communities

Tell your state and city leaders: Act now to keep families together and children safe

Current federal immigration policies are undermining the basic rights of children.

We’ve all read the headlines and seen the images—children and parents taken in court hallways, during traffic stops, even in emergency rooms—loaded into cars by masked people, and detained in deplorable and unsafe places hundreds of miles from home.

But for every story that makes headlines, hundreds more go unseen. Across the country, children are suffering the devastating consequences of our aggressive federal immigration policies.

Outrage isn’t enough. We need action.

A new policy brief offers concrete steps that state and local leaders can take right now to protect immigrant children and families—across legal, education, health, and social services systems to ensure families receive consistent support.

Add your name to demand that lawmakers act now to protect immigrant children in our communities.
