Tell Congress: Stand Firm. Children’s mental health funding must be stable, protected, and reliable.
Children are facing a mental health crisis—and families need stability, not chaos.
Nearly 1 in 4 children in the U.S. lives with a mental, emotional, or behavioral condition, yet most do not receive the care they need. In recent years, Congress has recognized the seriousness of this crisis and taken steps to strengthen mental health supports for children and families.
Today, that progress is at risk.
Abrupt funding cuts, reversals, and staffing disruptions have created dangerous uncertainty for the programs families rely on. Treating children’s mental health as expendable puts kids at risk, leaves families unable to plan, and providers unable to deliver care.
Children’s mental health should never be a political pawn. Congress must act now to fully fund and safeguard these programs.
Lawmakers must pass the federal budget this month. Add your name to demand Congress protect children’s mental health before January 30.
