Children’s Rights seeks a full-time, entry-level paralegal to join an active litigation program committed to reforming child welfare services for abused and neglected children.

Children’s Rights is a national non-profit organization that uses the law, in partnership with a variety of local and national expert groups and policy analysts, to bring about meaningful reform in government child welfare agencies that provide children with foster care, adoptive and child protective services.

Responsibilities of the paralegal position include providing support to attorneys in litigation case management, managing case press, proofreading and finalizing legal briefs, reviewing documents, managing document production, handling intake calls, conducting some data analysis, and managing other case-specific projects. The position has been ranked by The Princeton Review as one of the Top 100 Jobs to land straight out of college.

Start date is flexible, but applicants should be prepared to begin by late spring or early summer, and must be prepared to make a two-year commitment to the position.

If you have applied to work as a paralegal at Children’s Rights in the last six months, please do not reapply. Such applications are on file and will be considered for this position.
