Meetra Mehdizadeh joined Children’s Rights in 2016. Ms. Mehdizadeh is a graduate of Harvard Law School, where she was a Managing Editor of the Harvard Civil Rights-Civil Liberties Law Review. During law school, Ms. Mehdizadeh was a member of the Harvard Prison Legal Assistance Project and interned at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia, GLBTQ Legal Advocates & Defenders, the Law Offices of Howard Friedman, the National Partnership for Women & Families, and the Harvard Immigration and Refugee Clinic. Prior to law school, Ms. Mehdizadeh served as a Youth Development Volunteer in the Peace Corps in Morocco. Ms. Mehdizadeh is a 2010 graduate of the University of Chicago, where she majored in Political Science and Near Eastern Languages & Civilizations.
