Kathleen Rivera

Young Professional Leadership Council Member

Kathleen has more than 18 years of experience and expertise dedicated to increasing support bases for expanding international, national and local non-profits, including Children’s Rights, the International Planned Parenthood Federation, and CARE. Prior to fundraising, Kathleen served as a community organizer for a Boston based grassroots organization dedicated to increasing the social and economic power of individuals and families through education, financial literacy, technology and arts programming. She also directed outreach programs throughout Greater Boston for community-based organizations and health professionals about gender-based violence. Kathleen is an alumnus of Local Initiatives Support Corporation Americorps (LISC) and was awarded the City Year Moccasin Award for her outstanding achievements in advocacy and community service.
