Airenakhue Omoragbon is a graduating senior at Yale who is currently completing an Intensive Sociology major with an interdisciplinary concentration in Urban Studies. With interests that lie at the intersection of nonprofit management, social service delivery, and diversity, equity, and inclusion education, she has dedicated much of her academic coursework and professional experiences thus far to gaining a better understanding of the relationship between controlling images, organizational structure, and the preventive practices of child welfare organizations. Most notably, Airenakhue previously worked at the JPB Foundation where she authored an internal report on the intersectional relationship between social and environmental determinants of health. Upon graduation in May of 2018, Airenakhue plans to pursue a Master’s in Social Work, and eventually a PhD in Social Welfare Policy. She is in awe of the work done by Children’s Rights and is excited to serve the organization to the best of her abilities.
