Jonathan M. King is a Staff Attorney at Children’s Rights. Prior to joining Children’s Rights in 2018, Jonathan was an associate at Venable LLP in New York. His practice focused on general commercial litigation and regulatory matters. Jonathan advised clients in a range of business disputes and financial services regulatory issues. His experience includes conducting complex legal research, drafting memoranda, and managing large-scale discovery projects.
Jonathan earned his B.A. degree in 2007 from the College of the Holy Cross. Jonathan was a member of Teach For America and earned a Master of Science for Teachers from Pace University in 2009, concentrating in Students with Disabilities. He received his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law in 2012. His pro bono work has included representing clients seeking asylum and relief under the U.N. Convention Against Torture.
