Jessica Polansky joined Children’s Rights in September 2006. Prior to joining the organization, she clerked for the Hon. Jon Phipps McCalla of the U.S. District Court of the Western District of Tennessee. Ms. Polansky studied International Studies and Business at the University of Pennsylvania and received her law degree from Cornell Law School in 2005. Before law school, she ran mentoring programs at Sponsors for Educational Opportunity, a nonprofit organization providing academic enrichment to New York City students of color. She currently serves as a board member of AVODAH: the Jewish Service Corps. She has also worked at the Center for Constitutional Rights, Heller Ehrman White & McAuliffe LLP, and the Northern Ireland Human Rights Commission.
