Senior Policy Analyst
Elissa Glucksman joined Children’s Rights in September 2011. Before joining Children’s Rights, she practiced law at Brown, Paindiris & Scott, LLP in Hartford, Connecticut, where she focused on family law litigation. Prior to entering private practice, Ms. Glucksman was a social work intern at the Connecticut Department of Children and Families in the Hartford Voluntary Services Unit and the Bridgeport Child Advocacy Coalition, as well as a legal intern at the Center for Children’s Advocacy and Lawyers for Children America in Hartford, Connecticut.
Ms. Glucksman received her B.A. in psychology from Brandeis University, magna cum laude, in 2006, her M.S.W. in policy practice from the University of Connecticut School of Social Work in 2009, and her J.D., with honors, from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 2010, where she was a recipient of a University of Connecticut School of Law Public Interest Law Group Fellowship.
