Before joining Children’s Rights in the fall of 2006, Brooks Halliday served as press secretary and speechwriter for U.S. Senator Mark Dayton of Minnesota. She has written for The Hill newspaper in Washington, DC, and served as deputy campaign manager for Minnesota State Senator Geoff Michel. Ms. Halliday graduated with a B.A. in American Studies from Smith College in 2004.
