Postgraduate Fellowships

Children’s Rights seeks third-year law students and current law clerks whose clerkships will be completed by August 2009 to sponsor as Postgraduate Fellows through the Equal Justice Works, Skadden, Liman, Kirkland & Ellis, Soros, or other similar public interest fellowship programs.

Qualifications
We are seeking a recent law school graduate with excellent writing skills, an outstanding academic record, and a demonstrated commitment to public interest. Preference will be given to applicants familiar with complex class action litigation and federal court practice or with a federal court clerkship. Knowledge of children’s issues or social service systems is a plus but is not required. The position requires extensive work with experts and the ability and interest to address policy issues as well as traditional litigation. Travel is required.
