Legal Internships
Children’s Rights seeks committed and enthusiastic law students to intern in our office. Because of the relatively small size of our organization, interns enjoy tremendous responsibilities and assist Children’s Rights attorneys with all aspects of our pending cases. Responsibilities may include conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and briefs, assisting with discovery, helping prepare for depositions, participating in strategy sessions, attending meetings with defendants and stakeholders, and contacting sources. We prefer 3Ls/rising 3Ls and 2Ls/rising 2Ls, but will consider 1Ls for academic year and summer internships.
While we are no longer accepting applications for the summer of 2010, if you are interested in an internship for the 2010-2011 academic year (fall/spring semester) at Children’s Rights, please submit (1) cover letter, (2) resume, (3) a writing sample, and (4) law school transcript (if available) to:
